Great you showed up!!! Let's get to know each other.
Okay, I'll start....
I was born and raised in Steinbach, a small Mennonite community in Southern Manitoba, into a family of 7 children. I spent most of my twenties traveling the world exploring different places and belief systems of humanity. At 28 I settled down in Lethbridge and owned and operated Carole’s Bistro and Blues Bar for 14 years. This was a very valuable experience in understanding people at a very basic level. It gave me hands on experience in the business world, as well as being a great foundation for my present work.
During my years in the restaurant business, I sat on the board for the Chinook Tourist Association, the BRZ and the Chamber of Commerce. From 1991-1993, I worked with Alberta Tourism Education Council to set up standards for the Food and Beverage Servers and was a Certification Evaluator. I sold my business in 1999 to explore a different aspect of life.
In 2000, I was certified as a Level 1 Psychosomatic Therapist and Body Mind Analyst through the Australasian Institute of Body Mind Analysis and Psychosomatic Therapy.
Since than I have worked and studied under the Director of the Institute, Hermann Müller of Australia, as a facilitator and teacher of this work in Canada. In 2005, I received my Diploma in teaching Psychosomatic Therapy, which includes The Secrets of Body Language. I am also a member of The Australasian Board of Psychosomatic Therapy, Inc. and the American Board of Hypnotherapy.
In 2004, I started my own training company, Core Potentials Training Inc. We offer a certified training program in a Diploma in Psychosomatic Therapy through the Australasian Institute and self development workshops in "The Magic of Loving Yourself".
In the fall of 2006, I moved to Calgary, Alberta, Canada to open Core Potentials Therapy Centre. This is the head office for the Training Centre with 5 treatment rooms for practitioners of related therapies.
